Running Out of Time

The 3rd Experimental Primary School of Nea Ionia participated in the Global Schools action day for climate change. Our actions from October to November 2022:

Both pupils and parents were informed and sensitized about climate change.

Pupils took part in activities, experiments and games so as to understand the reasons and the consequences of global warming.

27th October: Teacher’s participation (Greek part) to the relay from Scotland to Egypt.

Participation of the whole school to the schools’ action day (3rd November).

Younger pupils read a fairy tale about the life of a tree and understood the chain of life and the meaning of biodiversity.

Younger pupils drew the planet.

Young pupils created the alphabet of the green planet.

They also sang a song that they have written about climate change.

They participated to a relay inside the school.

6-year-old pupils learn how to recycle.
